Description

Azlife 250 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia).

HOW TO USE AZLIFE TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Azlife 250 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

HOW AZLIFE TABLET WORKS

Azlife 250 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

AZILIFE TABLET RELATED WARNINGS

• Alcohol : It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Azlife 250 mg Tablet.
• Pregnancy :

  1. Azlife 250 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.

  2. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

• Lactation :

  1. Azlife 250 mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

  2.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.

• Driving : Azlife 250 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
• Kidney : Azlife 250 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Azlife 250 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
• Liver
  CAUTION : Azlife 250 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Azlife 250 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

WHAT IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF AZILIFE TABLET?

If you miss a dose of Azlife 250 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
