HOW TO USE Deplife-AT TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Deplife-AT Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

HOW Deplife-AT TABLET WORKS

Deplife-AT Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and Atenolol, which lowers blood pressure effectively. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while atenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

DEPLIFE-AT TABLET RELATED WARNINGS

  • Alcohol : Atenolol and alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
  • Pregnancy :

    1. Deplife Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.

    2. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

  • Lactation : Deplife-AT Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
  • Driving :

    1. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

    2. Deplife-AT Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.

  • Kidney : 1. Deplife-AT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Deplife-AT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

    2. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended and can help in better dose adjustment.

  • Liver :

    1. Deplife-AT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Deplife-AT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

    2. Deplife-AT Tablet is started at a lower dose in patients with liver disease and further increased slowly with careful monitoring.
