Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

HOW LEADCEF INJECTION WORKSS

LEADCEF 1gm Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

LEADCEF INJECTION RELATED WARNINGS

  • Alcohol : Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.
  • Pregnancy : 1. LEADCEF 1gm Injection is safe to use during pregnancy.

    2. Adequate and well-controlled human studies have shown low or no risk.

  • Lactation : LEADCEF 1gm Injection should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
  • Driving : LEADCEF 1gm Injection may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
  • Kidney : 1. LEADCEF 1gm Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of LEADCEF 1gm Injection is recommended.

    2. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

  • Liver : LEADCEF 1gm Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of LEADCEF 1gm Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
    Dose adjustment of LEADCEF 1gm Injection is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

WHAT IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF LEADCEF INJECTION?

If you miss a dose of LEADCEF 1gm Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
