ONJOY 4 mg Injection 2ml is used in the treatment and prevention of nausea and vomiting.

ONJOY INJECTION SIDE EFFECTS

  • Headache
  • Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk)
  • Constipation
  • Injection site pain

HOW TO USE ONJOY INJECTION

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

HOW ONJOY INJECTION WORKS

ONJOY 4 mg Injection 2ml is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.

ONJOY INJECTION RELATED WARNINGS

  • Alcohol : Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.
  • Pregnancy : ONJOY 4 mg Injection 2ml is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
    Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
  • Lactation : ONJOY 4 mg Injection 2ml is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
  • Driving : ONJOY 4 mg Injection 2ml does not usually affect your ability to drive.
  • Kidney : ONJOY4 mg Injection 2ml is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of ONJOY 4 mg Injection 2ml is recommended.
    However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Limited information is available in patients taking this medicine for more than one day.
  • Liver : There is limited information available on the use of ONJOY 4 mg Injection 2ml in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

WHAT IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF ONJOY INJECTION?

If you miss a dose of ONJOY 4 mg Injection 2ml, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
