How to use STATLIFE-10 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. STATLIFE-10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How STATLIFE-10 Tablet works

STATLIFE-10 Tablet is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers “bad” cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises “good” cholesterol (HDL).

STATLIFE-10 Tablet related warnings

• Alcohol : Taking Atorvastatin with alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.
• Pregnancy :

  1. STATLIFE-10 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.

  2. Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

• Lactation : STATLIFE-10 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
• Driving : STATLIFE-10 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
• Kidney : 1. STATLIFE-10 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of STATLIFE-10 Tablet is recommended.

  2. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

• Liver : 1.STATLIFE-10 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of STATLIFE-10 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

  2. Use of STATLIFE-10 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you miss a dose of STATLIFE-10 Tablet?

If you miss a dose of STATLIFE-10 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
