HOW TO USE DROLIFE-MF TABLET

1. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Drolife-MF Tablet is to be taken with food.

2. This will help to avoid stomach upset.

HOW DROLIFE-MF TABLET WORKS

Drolife-MF Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Drotaverine and Mefenamic Acid, which relieves abdominal pain and cramps. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves contractions (spasms) associated with smooth muscles in the abdomen. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling).

DROLIFE-MF TABLET RELATED WARNINGS

• Alcohol : Taking Mefenamic acid with alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding.
• Pregnancy :

  1. Drolife-MF Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

  2. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

• Lactation : No information is available on the use of Drolife-MF Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
• Driving :

  1. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

  2. As Drolife-MF Tablet may cause vertigo.

• Kidney : 1. Drolife-MF Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Drolife-MF Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

  2. Use of Drolife-MF Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

• Liver :

  1. Drolife-MF Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Drolife-MF Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
