• Vomiting

How to use OCECLO-T4 Tablet

1. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. OCECLO-T4 Tablet is to be taken with food.

2. This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn.

How OCECLO-T4 Tablet works

OCECLO-T4 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

OCECLO-T4 Tablet related warnings

• Alcohol : Taking aceclofenac with alcohol may increase risk of stomach bleeding.
• Pregnancy :

  1. OCECLO-T4 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

  2. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

• Lactation : No information is available on the use of OCECLO-T4 Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
• Driving : OCECLO-T4 Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
• Kidney : OCECLO-T4 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of OCECLO-T4 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

  2. Use of OCECLO-T4 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

• Liver :

  1. OCECLO-T4 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of OCECLO-T4 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

  2. Use of OCECLO-T4 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advisable while the patient is taking this medicine.
